Pregnancy is a very special time in a mothers life, yet is still full of challenges. Especially trying to maintain a healthy diet to support your growing baby’s development. It can be tough to ensure you eat the right foods during pregnancy in the right quantities and get all the necessary nutrients.

My consultations will provide you with evidence based nutrition that you are able to trust. I can help you cut through the endless advice and information, support you in navigating these concerns, and help you make informed choices about what to eat, understanding which nutrients are most important during each trimester, and learn what to avoid during pregnancy.

During the post-natal period, I can continue to support you with the best ways to nourish your body while also caring for a baby, which foods and calorie intake support for during breastfeeding, and advice on all aspects of weaning when the time comes.

I can also provide nutrition support for; gestational diabetes, post-natal depression, breastfeeding, fatigue, energy levels, weight management, gut health, hormonal health OR a symptom/goal specific to you!

Hello, I am Jade, a Registered Nutritional Therapist. I am passionate about helping women through pregnancy and on their post-natal journey’s and beyond, to improve their health and well-being, and to support them during this very special but often very challenging time.

The body goes through an incredible amount during this time and I know first hand how difficult it can be to prioritise your own health whilst taking care of a newborn. I also have expertise in various areas of nutrition such as gut health & weight management; however we are all unique and I will work with a goal or symptom specific to you.

Food is an incredibly powerful tool and can be used for the benefit of our health. I work under the frame work of functional medicine. This means that I believe in treating the whole person, not only an isolated set of symptoms. Every person is different and unique, and when it comes to nutrition, a ‘one size fits all’ approach does not work. What is good for one person, may not be right for you. The goal of a consultation is to fully understand your individual requirements, through conversation, looking back at your history, your diet and helping you to feel your best again. I will support you every step of the way and make sure that you are consuming nutrient dense, healthy meals, providing you with delicious recipes and advice on supplementation, or functional testing if necessary.
