    The prenatal package is for those who want nutrition support during pre-conception to increase chances of a healthy pregnancy and baby. This package is also for those who are already pregnant and need nutrition and lifestyle support for help through pregnancy symptoms, and want to ensure a healthy pregnancy.

    We will cover:

    What foods to avoid during pregnancy

  • The Postnatal Package (3 Months)

    The postnatal package is for those who want to focus on recovery from childbirth through nutrition and lifestyle changes, want to optimise energy levels, and want support in knowing what to eat when breastfeeding.

    We will cover:

    The specific nutrients that support postnatal recovery

    Prevention or correction of nutritional deficiencies

    Support with postnatal depression, or nutrition for brain function & mood

    Tips for better sleep (albeit difficult with a newborn!)

    Tips for optimal diet when breastfeeding (e.g calorie dense foods, hydration)

    Includes:

    1 initial consultation to establish needs and goals (1 hour)

    3 x follow-up consultations (30-45 minutes)

  • Initial Consultation

    £85

    The initial consultation takes approximately 60 minutes. You will be asked to provide a five day diet diary and health information prior to your consultation. It is important that you take the time to complete these forms as they will help establish the connections between the foods you eat and your current symptoms, and to optimise the time we spend together during your consultation.

    Includes:

    1 x initial consultation to establish needs and goals (1 hour)

    1 x personalised nutrition & lifestyle plan. It will include detailed explanations of how your dietary and lifestyle habits may be contributing to your symptoms and will provide a bespoke nutrition and lifestyle plan

    Recommendations on nutrition supplements/functional tests (if applicable)

  • Follow-up Consultation

    £55

    Follow up visits are 30-45 minutes. It is recommended that you book your follow up consultation around 4 weeks after your initial consultation. This will give us time to review your progress and make any necessary amendments, and to adjust for any new concerns that you may wish to discuss.

    1 x follow-up consultation where the initial implementation of the plan will be reviewed (30-45 minutes)

    1 x revised personalised nutrition & lifestyle plan

  • Mini Health Review

    £50

    The Mini Health Review will consist of reviewing your diet and giving nutrition + lifestyle tips and advice on supplementation if necessary. This health review is for those seeking general advice on diet + nutrition, and/or advice on how to support certain symptoms or goals, depending on the person.

    The mini health review is 30 minutes and you will be asked to email over your completed mini health review form and a 3 day food journal before the session.

    Includes:

    1 x Mini health review (30 minutes)

    1 x Personalised nutrition & lifestyle plan, including recommendations based around your personal areas of health.

    Recommendations on nutrition supplements (if necessary)

FAQs

I would like to book a consultation, how does it work?

Where? I currently hold online consultations from my home so we can work together no matter where you are based.

Step 1 - To start with we will have a quick phone call and talk about your symptoms and goals. The discovery call is 15 minutes and we will talk about your health concerns and I can answer any queries you may have and explain the consultation process. It’s an opportunity to get to know each other and see whether we would be a good team to work together on your health concerns.

Step 2 - Once you have decided to book an initial consultation or the essential package, you will be asked to complete some forms which I will send to you via the website called Practice Better. This is a platform I use for client management, billing, scheduling appointments, sending forms. You will be asked to sign up and make an account, and I will then be able to send the forms for you to complete. The forms to be completed include: New Client Form, 5 Day Food Diary, Terms of Engagement, Consent Form - GDPR. You will send these back via the Practice Better portal, ideally a week before our scheduled consultation.

Step 3 - In the initial consultation we will review your past/current health and lifestyle in detail. I will ask you a lot of detailed questions about your health concerns, symptoms, medical and family history, diet, levels of physical activity, use of medication and supplements, routine, etc. This will enable us to try to understand what is going on in your body and establish potential root cause/s to your symptoms. Additionally, I might suggest appropriate functional testing to help understand the cause of your symptoms. After that, I will create a personalised, safe and effective dietary and lifestyle protocol for you.

Step 4 - The plan duration is 4 weeks and after this time it is a great idea to book in a follow up consultation. If you have booked the Essential Package, a follow up session is included. The follow up session will allow us to see how you are getting on with your plan, talk about any new changes due to the plan, check on your symptoms, and we will adjust to accommodate any changes or new goals. After this I will be available to support you and answer any questions for the next month. I will be available by email or phone call if you need any support with your plan. It is important to stay in touch during this time so I can help with any questions, see what is working and what needs to be tweaked, so you can achieve positive results with your plan. It is very important that you tell me how you are progressing, what’s working for you, and what’s not working for you, what we need to change. This will help you to achieve positive results and take a proactive role in your health.

What is functional testing?

Functional testing is a great tool for nutritional therapists to understand what is happening in the body, identify underlying causes and contributors of the symptoms that you may be experiencing. Tests can detect or confirm nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances and many other issues. There are multiple laboratories offering various comprehensive analysis of blood, stool, hair, dried urine, etc.
